Vocational Programs

PDG provides a full continuum of vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities, with a particular focus on those with severe and persistent mental illness.

We provide Workforce Re-Entry Training:

• Employment Assistance
• Job Coaching and Retention Services
• Supported Employment Services.

PDG's vocational programs are designed to move consumers of public services into producers of their own income.

Our consumers are coached to understand the meaning, necessity, and demands of work. They are motivated to reach their highest levels of productivity, independence, and inclusion in the community. We subscribe to the recovery model that values employment as a means of fostering hope, developing self esteem, breaking the cycle of preoccupation with one’s illness, and engaging in meaningful life activities.
