PDG Therapeutics provides individual, group, marital, and family therapy.
PDG’s group of experienced clinicians is available during the day, evening, or weekend in order to meet the needs of individuals seeking therapeutic support.
Therapy helps individuals cope with challenging life circumstances, as well as behavioral health difficulties and diagnoses. Our services benefit individuals dealing with depression, grief, family conflict, career difficulty, anger management, suicide prevention, self harm, anxiety, addictions, and many other challenges.
PDG-T sessions take place in a warm, comfortable, and supportive environment. All services are customized to meet the needs of the client served; the counselors work with clients to establish treatment goals for therapy and move toward the goals in a supportive and collaborative relationship.

Clinicians
Dr. Amy Bosworth

She has a Doctorate of Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University/Washington, DC with personal research interests in the area of interpersonal violence and trauma. She has a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Loyola College in Maryland.
She has been qualified as an expert witness in the field of Domestic Violence in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court and is a member of the Anne Arundel County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team. Professional interests include forensic/correctional psychology, serious mental illness, and trauma-focused treatment. She is certified in advanced individual and group Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). See Amy on Psychology Today.
Sarah Citrin, LMSW

Sarah has worked with diverse groups of children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, conduct and emotional regulation issues, and a variety of other factors which may impact one’s quality of life and overall well-being.
Sarah received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, with a minor in Family Studies from Towson University, and she is currently fulfilling the requirements of her specialized field placement, for completion of her Master’s in Social Work from Widener University. See Sarah on Psychology Today.
Julia Perini, LMSW, CGP

Julia promotes a warm, non-judgmental space to support clients as they work through challenges they may be facing. Julia has helped her clients struggling with various concerns such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, substance use, trauma, self-esteem, stress management, and more. Julia’s goal in the therapeutic relationship is to help individuals navigate life’s changes and struggles, achieve greater peace, and enjoy their unique process along the way. With the understanding that finding the right therapist and beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, Julia encourages potential clients to take the leap and schedule the initial assessment. This provides an opportunity for clients to ask questions and discuss any concerns openly.

Marian L. Stukes, LCPC

Kirsty Wheelton, LCMFT

Kirsty works to understand individuals from all different backgrounds and age groups, building rapport in order to best address the needs of each person. Kirsty creates a safe and supportive environment so individuals can feel comfortable communicating their thoughts and feelings in a therapeutic setting.

Miranda DeMers, LGPC

Miranda uses a range of techniques to meet each person’s individual needs, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, rational-emotive, and attachment-based techniques among others. No one technique is one-size-fits-all, and she works with clients to discover the best fit for them.
Miranda received her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2024 and has worked in the mental health field one-on-one with clients since 2015. Her experience includes working with adults living with mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, and family-of-origin concerns. She is also LGBTQIA+, kink, and non-monogamy friendly.

Monica Redmond, LGPC

As a dedicated and compassionate counseling degree student, she is committed to helping individuals navigate the challenges they face in their lives. Monica believes that seeking therapy is a courageous step towards personal growth and healing, and provides a supportive, warm, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Monica’s approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, active listening, and collaboration. She understands that each individual is unique and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet your specific needs and goals. Monica draws from various therapeutic modalities, including motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy. She has extensive experience with trauma, substance use, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Kendra Smither, LPC Student Intern

Kendra is passionate about helping clients work through life transitions, identity development, relationship issues, grief, anxiety, depression, and substance use. With a deep understanding of how environment influences us and a forensic psychology background, Kendra focuses on creating an affirming, inclusive space for everyone, especially for those from historically marginalized communities.
Kendra’s therapeutic approach is integrative and flexible, combining mindfulness, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and somatic techniques. Payment for services, or insurance co-pays, must be collected before your appointment. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.

Policies
Please give more than 24 hours if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to give sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to $75.00.
Arrive on time for your appointment! Due to insurance requirements, if you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may not be seen and a cancellation fee will apply.
